       On April 22, 2023, Dylan McMahan passed away in a tragic accident. He was an amazing person and we miss him dearly everyday. He was a welder and loved it.  While starting out in his career he had trouble figuring out what exactly he needed to do to get the certifications required.  He wasn't prepared to take college courses but worked well with his hands.  After his death, family and friends came together to start an organization to help people who are in the same predicament Dylan was in so The DMAC Foundation was created. It started officially in 2024 with the inception of DMAC Fest. With a day of live music, food trucks and fun; money raised was put into a scholarship with the Calhoun Foundation at Calhoun Community College.  Now we are continuing our efforts to provide people with the opportunity to better themselves, their families and our community by helping people to enter into different trade programs or vocational schools. We hope you will join us in our mission to give people opportunities they may not have had before.
